There’s a mural of Trent Alexander-Arnold at Anfield…
After Liverpool’s FC sixth European Cup win last season, tribute has been paid to the club’s boyhood fan, local lad and talented young right-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Trent is a key part of the squad at Liverpool having come through the ranks at Anfield and is hugely popular with the club’s supporters. Acknowledging this and to raise awareness for Fans Supporting Foodbanks, the number 66 has been painted on the side of houses in the Anfield area with his quote from after the final whistle in Madrid: ‘I’m just a normal lad from Liverpool whose dream has just come true.’

Two stories high, the image of the young player is to be a reminder of what is possible for youngsters running around this part of the city. Painted on Sybil Road, fans have been flocking to the mural all week ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League opener against Norwich City. The painting was commissioned by Liverpool fan-led podcast, The Anfield Wrap.
