Red Bull Arena
The Red Bull Arena is the second-largest stadium in Eastern Germany and the home ground of RB Leipzig. The modern football stadium was first opened for the World Cup of 2006. It is located on the same site as the old Zentralstadion, which was once the largest stadium in Germany with a capacity of 100,000. The arena is less than two kilometres from the city centre.
Augustusplatz Fan Zone
On the Augustusplatz, the city’s largest square, you can find a large Fan Zone from the 14th of June until the 14th of July. The square will be transformed into a public viewing spot for up to 15,000 football fans to watch all EURO 2024 matches. Besides being able to watch the games, the Fan Zone will also be a festival area for young and old. There will be a football field, around 30 concerts, a Ferris wheel and many other things.
