These are the coolest collaborations between clubs and fashion brands
The worlds of fashion and football have become increasingly intertwined in recent years. Football culture fills the streets with retro football shirts, scarves or the adidas Samba’s. And vice versa, where we used to see mainly footballers as endorsers of fashion brands, nowadays entire clubs are brought in to promote fashion brands. This phenomenon delivers great collections. These are the coolest collaborations between fashion brands and football clubs.

PSG x Born X Raised
Paris Saint-Germain and Los Angeles-based streetwear brand Born X Raised recently teamed up for an exclusive collection, bringing together fashion and football, Paris and Los Angeles. The collaboration kicked off during PSG’s match against Olympique Marseille, which featured T-shirts, sweatshirts and eye-catching kits from two brands. Born X Raised’s iconic gothic font adorns the collection, with ‘Born X Raised’ above the number 22 on PSG’s away and home jerseys. Fans can choose between ‘Paris’ or ‘Los Angeles’ on the lower back, celebrating the fusion of these two vibrant cities in black, white, ivory and PSG blue.

Juventus x Palace
This collaboration is one from a few years back, but these items have become true collector’s items. The Italians are well known about their feeling for fashion, but Juventus upped their reputation further by launching a collection from adidas x Palace. The specially created range involved everything from training wear to the kit itself, as the iconic skate brand provided a twist on the classic Juventus kit for the Old Lady. Cristiano Ronaldo and company wore the range with its fluorescent detailings in several matches. And there is more with co-branded pieces allround in the lifestyle range.

AC Milan x Off-White
Italy, and certainly Milan, is of course known as one of the world’s fashion capitals. So AC Milan could not be left behind. The Rossoneri have recently partnered with Off-White. As part of the deal, designer Virgil Abloh’s fashion brand dresses both the men’s and women’s team. This has already resulted in several stunning items. From beautiful, stone-coloured varsity jackets with cool details, low-top trainers and full suits by Off-White.

Real Madrid x adidas Y-3
It has been a decade since Y-3, the collaborative brand of adidas and Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto, teamed up with Real Madrid. With this milestone in mind, and following the celebration of the iconic club’s 120th anniversary with a special kit in the 2021/22 season, Y-3 and Real Madrid reunite to infuse Yohji Yamamoto’s unique vision into a seven-piece travel collection for one of the sporting world’s most prestigious clubs. Players like Naomie Feller, David Alaba, and Jude Bellingham, along with club legend Zinedine Zidane, model the collection. That is been inspired by both Real Madrid’s and Y-3’s signature monochromatic style. The travel collection features a sleek array of black pieces, from polos to coach jackets, each adorned with Yohji Yamamoto’s signature script and the Real Madrid crest.
